I was tagged by
AlterEgo909 to provide five random facts about myself and tag 5 (or more) more people to do the same.
1) I co-lead a Bible study in my dorm.
I actually declined the first time I was asked to lead a study, I was a little intimidated because I didn't know if I could lead a Bible study well. It was a good thing I did because it has been far more beneficial for me to lead a study than to just be in one. I get so much more out of the passage than I would otherwise.
And no, that's not what I wear to the study, I just enjoy that picture...
2) I'm a second year engineering student...
...but I'm actually a junior by credits because I earned 28 college credits in high school. I'm currently double majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Material Science & Engineering, so I don't see myself graduating for another four years.
3) I went to Sweden for two weeks to play in a soccer tournament.
And it was awesome. I was hosted by a Swedish player who I had hosted the previous year for the same tournament (at that time held in the States). And I bought a sword from one of the castles there. It was awesome. Yeah,
awesome.
Unfortunately I have been to busy to play on a league team since last year in the fall, making this fall I haven't played since I was five. Yeah,
five.
4) House of Heroes is an amazing band, and I got my picture taken with them. And got them to sign a CD and the shirt you see me wearing in the photo.
5) I'm a hopeless romantic......who is hopelessly useless when Life strikes with the possibility.

Thanks for participating! That is cool about leading the bible study, we are definitely put into positions for a reason, and that seems to be something for you to gain from as well as help others.
1.I know exactly what you mean.
2.Having a lot of engineer friends, I thought those signs were great.
3.I have a good friend who was a missionary kid who was from Sweden.
4.I grew up in a house of heroes
5. ... I feel your pain. Been there
So does this mean we are supposed to do something like this now?
Okay, that engineer picture and the cat picture cracked me up. And when I'm cracking up but trying not to wake up my roommate in the next room, my laugh sort of comes out as a wheeze. So yeah, that means you made me laugh/wheeze.
Oh, and I just realized that you tagged me. Haha, I guess that serves me right for checking Xanga before I check my e-mail.
I don't think I can top yours...but I guess I'll see what I can do!
@dancinchicken - I did the exact same thing... I realized later after I read this that I was actually tagged. Hahaha!
@Legendairy - means you have to do it too :D
@dancinchicken - lol
and yeah- tag! you're it!
@justdosomething@revelife - lol you two...
@overly_toasted_bread - For the record, I did the same as the others about the tagged thing. Also, I did a post a while back about 25 random facts. Is there any particular TYPE of facts you would be interested to know?
RYC: ^___^ no problem my friend!
Oh, and thanks for you thinking me 'talented' 'artist', really, the 2words are overrated when used to describe me>_<~ thank you anyway, I very appreciate your compliment, you're very sweet ^__^
I love soccer
And it's cool getting to know you better!
done.
not as good as urs tho!
Cool stuff. When I was in college, I co-led a Bible study in my dorm room, too. Those were wonderful and scary times.
And I feel your pain about being a hopeless romantic.
@AlterEgo909 - yeah, thanks for tagging me- this was pretty fun to do
@Legendairy - anything you want to share...
@suicidalspirit - don't be so down on yourself! I know you are better at painting/drawing than I am.
@bella_esperanza - :D
@justdosomething@revelife - that's debatable...
@DuckTapeJourneyman - that's a pretty good way to describe it...
@overly_toasted_bread - Eh, I was just trying to narrow it down... We'll have to see what I can come up with.
@Legendairy - be creative!
@overly_toasted_bread - When am I not?
@Legendairy - *extra creative ;)
@overly_toasted_bread - My only problem is narrowing down the list. I guess the real question is whether to go with the 5 most important or just 5 odd, quirky preferences rather than requirements.
Also, I was thinking of seeing your challenge and raising you. 5 categories with 5 facts each.
@Legendairy - or write out both and pick the one you like best, but if you challenge and raise, I may just have to accept...
@overly_toasted_bread - Well so long as it's a challenge then, I should make it worth your while and make it a REAL challenge.
Very cool, especially the first one.
@casmarie - thanks :)
